Rather a palazzetto, this smaller palazzo type lies in the heart of a newly proposed piazza of the San Salvatore in Lauro area of Rome. While its ground floor solely purposes commercial space, its upper five levels contain residential apartments, including a penthouse tower space. The exterior celebrates the artisan and theatre history of the neighborhood with painted frescos of the Roman God Vulcan on its attic level. With subtle elements of Art Nouveau in the east fountain,the ornate bronze gate into the courtyard, and the window detailing, the palazzetto is meant to be a hidden gem tucked away in one of Rome's reinvigorated piazzas.
