THE TABLE

Made of Paduak wood, this side table is inspired by the cavenous forms of Carlo Pessina's Morotai table. Seemingly top heavy, the table transitions from the fine tuned geometries of a perfect hexagon into three sharp small feet. Upon looking through the glass table top, column-like fluting becomes visible within the interior of the skirting. Playing with the sculptural forms of perfect geometries, this table attempts to describe the language of the interior and exterior, heavy and light, negative and positive.
